Your benefits, at a glance

Start with the big picture.

Benefits vary by employer, employment status and plan. These are topics to discuss with Jamie; availability and eligibility must be confirmed for your specific benefits program.

01 / HEALTH

Medical coverage

Discuss the medical options available through your benefits program. Review provider networks, prescriptions, premiums and out-of-pocket costs.

02 / PLAN DETAILS

Know the limitations

If limited medical options are offered, ask how they differ from comprehensive coverage. Review exclusions, including emergency and surgical care.

03 / DENTAL

Dental benefits

If offered, compare preventive care, deductibles, annual maximums and network differences in the dental plans available to you.

04 / VISION

Vision benefits

If offered, review eye exams, lenses, frames and contact lens allowances, along with benefit frequency and network rules.

05 / VOLUNTARY BENEFITS

Additional protection

Ask whether life, disability, accident, critical illness or hospital indemnity options are available. Review rates, exclusions and eligibility before choosing.

06 / EVERYDAY PERKS

Employee perks

Ask about any employee discounts or wellness programs available to you and how to access current offers.

A little clarity before we connect

Common new-hire questions.

When do my benefits begin?

Waiting periods and eligibility depend on your employer, employment status and plan. Ask HR to confirm your exact effective date and enrollment deadline.

Are part-time employees eligible?

Eligibility for part-time employees varies by employer and plan. Ask HR or Jamie which options, if any, are available for your employment status.

What if I don’t want to elect coverage?

Your benefits program may require you to document a decision to waive coverage. Jamie can help you understand the steps that apply to you.

What should I have ready?

Bring questions about your doctors, prescriptions, dependents and any existing coverage. Your benefits guide explains the information needed for enrollment. Keep that information for the enrollment process; this page does not collect it.
